Teachers, counselors, parents, coaches, nurses, and other important adults in children’s lives model and teach young people every day about healthy relationships. Below are some Expect Respect materials to help start the conversation. Selected publications about the program can be accessed here.
Ending Harassment: Teacher Training and Classroom Lessons for High School (2018)
These training materials were designed to help schools address sexual harassment including dating abuse and sexual assault. They include slides for conducting training with teachers, slides for teachers to conduct three classroom advisory lessons with students, and additional handouts. As these materials were created for use in the Austin Independent School District, modifications may be needed for other districts.
