Yvette has spent more than 25 years supporting the healthy development of children, youth and families in recreational, educational and therapeutic environments. Yvette grew up in Austin and received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been at SAFE for 23 years, working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Yvette considers it a privilege to work with such strong and resilient adults and children. When she has helped even one survivor of abuse to feel heard, it has been a good day for Yvette.
